Ellsworth Commends Supreme Court Decision Upholding Partial Birth Abortion Ban

WASHINGTON - In response to a Supreme Court ruling upholding the partial-birth abortion ban, Rep. Brad Ellsworth today released the following statement commending the Court's decision:

"I applaud the Court's decision today affirming the belief that every human life has value. In upholding the ban on this practice, the Court extended the promise of life to the most vulnerable members of our society. But more must be done, and I will work in a collaborative manner in Congress to reduce the number of abortions and unwanted pregnancies and promote an America where life is valued at every stage."
