THE FOOTHILL CITIES COLLEGE FAIR AND
FINANCIAL AID SEMINAR

Congressman Dreier invites local high school students and their families to a seminar on choosing a college and planning and paying for college. The event is scheduled for Monday, September 26th from 5:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Duarte High School Library, 1565 East Central, Duarte.
Co-sponsored by Sallie Mae, the nation’s leading provider of education funding, the event will give students and their families information to help them pay for the college or university of their choice. Seminars will be held from 5:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (English/Spanish) and again at 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (English/Spanish). Attendees will learn about the differences in federal student loan programs, how to apply and qualify for financial aid, and how to borrow responsibly for college. Additionally, during the evening students will be able to visit information booths with representatives from area universities that will be on hand to provide free financial aid forms and answer specific questions.
