Statement of Congressman David Dreier on Armando Garcia

Congressman David Dreier (R-Glendora) issued the following statement this afternoon after Armando Garcia plead guilty to having murdered LACO Deputy Sheriff David March:

“This brings to an end the prolonged and arduous journey to bring the killer of Deputy David March to justice.  Knowing Armando Garcia is finally serving his sentence will, hopefully, bring some sense of closure for the March family.  My thoughts and prayers are with the March family on this day.  Even as we mark the fact that Armando Garcia is behind bars, we must remain committed in our struggle to secure our borders and fight for tough laws that will keep our communities, citizens and law enforcement officers safe.”
