Dreier Web Site One of the Best in Congress
February 28, 2007
WASHINGTON, DC - Congressman David Dreier (R-San Dimas, CA), House Rules Committee Ranking Republican, was honored this week for the excellence of his official web site, dreier.house.gov, by the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF), a non‑profit, non‑partisan management consulting and research organization in Washington, D.C. In their 2006 Gold Mouse Report: Recognizing the Best Web Sites on Capitol Hill, CMF awarded Dreier’s web site the Bronze Mouse Award.
“It is a high priority for me to communicate the latest Congressional action on a wide range of issues folks care about,” Dreier said. “Likewise, the web site is one of the main ways constituents can contact me with their views. I am continually looking for new ways to shorten the distance between Washington and Southern California. That is why it is an honor to receive this recognition for my web site by CMF.”
Congressman Dreier’s web site is a user‑friendly tool for communications, legislative priorities, and news for the 26th Congressional District. Constituents can also sign up for Dreier’s e-newsletter on the site. CMF evaluated 615 sites for this report, which analyzed congressional web sites including those of all Senate and House Members, committees, and official leadership sites. CMF also honored the 109th Congress House Rules Committee web site. Congressman Dreier chaired the Rules Committee in the 109th Congress.
