Local Rules of Court
United States Court of Appeals
( Promulgated under Rule 47(a) of the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure )

Individual federal courts are authorized to prescribe rules for the conduct of their business. The local court rules must be consistent with federal law and the federal rules of practice and procedure. 28 U.S.C. §2071(a).
