Rep. Stephanie Herseth on 9/11 Report Findings

“It’s clear to me that Congress has not been doing enough to ensure homeland security and fight terrorism.  Security briefings I’ve received from Director of Homeland Security Ridge, CIA Director Tenet, and FBI Director Mueller confirm the serious and immediate nature of the 9/11 Commission’s findings.  It’s been nearly three years since 9/11, and Congress needs to move quickly to address the report’s recommendations and do what is necessary to protect the safety of the American people and prevent future attacks.”
