NASA intends to conduct a Space-to-Earth Power Beaming demonstration, which will be flown on the International Space Station (ISS). NASA will release an RFP for space-qualified electronic power conditioners (EPC) to be integrated and tested with six 100W GFE TWTs. Delivery within ten months of contract award is desired, but NASA will consider delivery dates up to eighteen months after contract award. The RFP will be released on January 5, 2009, with proposals due on February 4, 2009. Contract award is projected for February 27, 2009.
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about January 5, 2009 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about February 4, 2009.
