NASA/GSFC has a requirement for the following:
1)P/N: 34500-FLOAT - Virtuoso (R) Schematic Editor REL IC 5.1.41; QTY: 1.
2)1 Year Maintenance Service for P/N: 34500-FLOAT.
3)P/N: 32120-FLOAT - Virtuoso (R) Electronic Design for Manufacturability Option REL IC 5.1.41; QTY 1.
4)1 Year Maintenance Service for P/N: 32120-FLOAT.
NASA/GSFC intends to purchase these items from Cadence Design Systems, Inc.
The authority is FAR 13.106(b)(1) only one source reasonably available.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
DO Rating is DO-C9. This synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing via fax (301-286-8371), email (Jasmine.N.Jett@nasa.gov) or mail to NASA GSFC, ATTN: Jasmine Jett, CODE 210.3, Bldg. 23/Rm.E439, 8800 Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt, MD 20771, no later than 4:30 p.m. ET on 09/19/2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
