NASA Johnson Space Center (NASA/JSC) plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following Commercial services: JSC Administrative Support Services to support JSC, the Sonny Carter Training Facility (SCTF), Ellington Field in Houston, TX, and the White Sands Test Facility (WSTF) in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The administrative support services will include both permanent and temporary positions. It will include branch, division, and directorate level administrative support, as well as astronaut crew support staff requirements. The effort will include general office services, data management, time and labor collection, and the coordination for property, moves, training, information services, special events, and other miscellaneous activities.
NASA/JSC intends to issue a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed-Priced contract with a maximum award value of $58M and a 5-year period of performance. The period of performance will include a 3-year base period and two 1-year option periods.
This procurement is a competitive 8(a) business set-aside. Offerors are solicited only from small business concerns expressly certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA) for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program.
The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561410 and $6.5M, respectively.
The anticipated release date of Draft RFP NNJ08225419R is on or about May 21, 2008, with an anticipated due date for comments of on or about June 4, 2008. The draft RFP will allow interested parties the opportunity to submit questions, comments, and innovative ideas. Moreover, in accordance with NASA Federal Acquisition Regulation 1815.201(c)(6)(A), prospective offerors are also requested to identify any unnecessary and/or inefficient requirements. The anticipated release date of the Final RFP is on or about July 21, 2008, with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about August 21, 2008.
