NASA/KSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Kennedy Space Center Information Management and Communication Support (IMCS) procurement.
This acquisition will succeed the current Kennedy Space Center Integrated Communications Services (KICS) contract (NAS10-03111) and the IT / COMM portion of the Joint Base Operations Support Contract (JBOSC - NAS10-99001), both of which will expire in September of 2008.
Method of Procurement: Small Business Set-aside
Anticipated Contract Type: Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF) / Firm Fixed Price (FFP)
Period of Performance: Five-year base period and four one-year option periods

The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26.

The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about September 13, 2007 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about November 13, 2007.
