The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) has posted the draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the Medical and Environmental Support Contract acquisition. This action is to encourage and promote early exchanges of information for this requirement as a part of NASA’s acquisition streamlining initiatives.
The Government is seeking comments by interested parties relating to the draft SOW (reasonableness of requirements and risk of performance). Companies are requested to discuss appropriate contract types, and any other concern industry may have with the overall procurement. Comments should be submitted via e-mail to the primary POC. Your response is required no later than 1:00 p.m. EDT Friday, May 21, 2007.
For planning purposes, the Government is anticipating holding a pre-solicitation conference after release of the draft Request for Proposal (RFP), which is scheduled to be released in late June 2007.
Your company may be identified on the MESC website as an interested party in the future, and should therefore state in its response if you do not wish your company’s name to be released.
This information is also available on the World Wide Web at http://ibsr.ksc.nasa.gov/IBSR/default.cfm .
