CONGRESSMAN COSTELLO ANNOUNCES LAW ENFORCEMENT GRANT FOR BELLEVILLE

WASHINGTON- U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Belleville will receive a Local Law Enforcement Block Grant of $23,904 from the Department of Justice.

"I am pleased that Belleville will receive these funds which support projects to reduce crime and improve public safety," said Costello, a former police officer.

The funds are awarded by the Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance and are direct awards of at least $10,000.
