Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, located in Marion, has been awarded a $13,710,628.90 contract by the U.S. Army. The award modifies an existing contract and is for the procurement of 1,089,269 each of 20mm PGU-28A/B SAPHEI cartridges.
"The dedicated employees at General Dynamics are an important part of our community and I am glad they are doing this work," said Costello. "They are also a key contributor to our national security and I will continue to support these efforts."
