Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, located in Marion, has been awarded a $6,390,162.60 contract by the U.S. Army. The award modifies an existing contract and is for the procurement of 318,794 each of cartridge 25mm target practice, M793 and 198,400 each of cartridge 25mm target practice, M793.
"This is important work that supports our troops and the local economy," said Costello. "Local businesses play an important role in our national defense, and I will continue to support these efforts."
