Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that National FDN/Ectodermal Dysplasias, located in Mascoutah, has been awarded a $35,000 grant from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The funds will be used for an international research conference on AEC Syndrome.
"Federal research dollars are an important driver of health care improvements and economic development," Costello said. "I will continue to work to ensure that health research remains a priority of the federal budget."
