BELLEVILLE SHOE MANUFACTURING COMPANY RECEIVES DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY CONTRACT

Washington- U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Belleville Shoe Manufacturing Company has been awarded an $8,844,084 contract by the Defense Logistics Agency. The company will produce boots for the Army in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

"This is a great example of how a local company contributes to our national security," said Costello. "I will continue to work to ensure that our Armed Forces have the resources they need."
