Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Village of Crainville and the Village of Dongola have received grants through the federal Anti-Drug Abuse/Byrne Formula Grant program and administered by the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. The funds will be used for projects tailored to local needs.
"Fighting drug abuse continues to be a pressing need throughout Illinois," said Costello. "I will continue to work to ensure that these resources are available to our law enforcement officials."
