AIRS Satellite Feed Maps
The Atmospheric Infrared Sounder retrieves data over most of the globe two times a day. The near-real-time maps found in this section are created from data retrieved from both the morning and night overpasses. Except in the case of the air temperature maps below, data acquired during the nighttime overpass is plotted over the data retrieved during the day.
