Belleville, IL- U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that he has nominated several area high school students to the nation's military academies, placing these students in line to receive an invitation to attend the academies in the fall of this year.
"One of my privileges as a United States Congressman is to nominate outstanding young men and women to our nation's military academies." Costello said. "I am hopeful that many of those nominated today will be accepted into the Fall Class of 2001."
