COSTELLO ANNOUNCES USDA GRANT FOR CITY OF MOUNDS
Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the city of Mounds has received a $45,000 Community Facility grant through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Rural Development. The funds will be used to purchase a backhoe for repair and maintenance of the city’s utilities.
““Maintaining municipal infrastructure is vital to economic development,” said Costello. “I will continue to support these projects that have a direct impact on the growth of our communities.”
