NORTHWEST ST. CLAIR COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT RECEIVES FIREFIGHTERS GRANT

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the Northwest St. Clair County Fire Protection District has received a $51,993 Assistance to Firefighters grant through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The funds will be used for operations and safety. Costello cosponsored the legislation that created the Assistance to Firefighters program.

"Our first responders put their lives on the line for our safety,” said Costello. "I will continue to work to ensure that they have the resources they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.”
