As a convenience, I have taken the liberty of putting answers to those common questions on this page. My website is filled with a great deal of information; as such, if you cannot find an answer to your question here, it may be available elsewhere on this site. How exactly are laws made in Congress?
While most of us know that the Congress, as the legislative branch of government, makes laws, some of us can forget how exactly this process, an intimate relationship between you and Congress, works.

There are two ways that I can answer this question. The Library of Congress hosts an in-depth document concerning how laws are made in the US Congress. To see that highly informative document, click here.

However, few resources that I know can explain the legislative process as succinctly as the animated short, "I'm Just a Bill" from the old Saturday morning feature, "Schoolhouse Rock." Perhaps some of you remember seeing it during your childhood or as a parent. Whether you remember it or not, you may come to enjoy this brief yet memorable clip from the past.
