Integrated Research on Watershed
Processes and Aquatic Ecology to Guide Management of Aquatic Ecosystems
and Water and Soil Resources:
Boise Aquatic Sciences Lab
The Boise ASL conducts research on aquatic and
terrestrial processes and the effects of natural and human-caused
disturbances on these ecosystems. This information is used to
develop decision support tools to assist managers in selecting
alternatives for the proper management that lead to the diverse,
resilient, and sustainable aquatic and terrestrial systems.
Visit the Boise Lab Home Page
for more detailed information about the lab, its work and AWAE and other
FS scientists.
