COSTELLO ANNOUNCES USDA GRANT FOR FREEMANSPUR

Washington - U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that the village of Freemanspur has received a $17,175 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of Rural Development. The funds will be used to purchase a dump truck with a snowplow for the village water department.

“Snow removal and other storm-related recovery needs are important for public safety and in years of heavy storm activity can burden community budgets,” said Costello. “USDA funds help local officials meet these needs and I will continue to support these efforts.”
