SIUC RECEIVES EDUCATION GRANT

Washington -U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that Southern Illinois University Carbondale has been awarded an $821,579 Rehabilitation Continuing Education Program grant through the U.S. Department of Education. The funds cover the first year of an anticipated five-year grant and will be used by SIUC’s Rehabilitation Institute RVTACE Center.

“This is a unique program and represents yet another way that SIUC is a national academic leader,” said Costello. “It also represents another important way that SIUC positively impacts our region.”
