Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN):

“Congress has an obligation to come back to this chamber…to come back and debate and to compromise and to develop a long term strategy to achieve independence for future generations.”

Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN):

“When gas was $4.14 a gallon this body was debating the Monkey Safety Act.  You are sitting in the People’s House and this Congress needs to be considering your priorities.”

  1. Linda D in Nevada Says:

Will the Gang of 16 in the Senate create chaos with your efforts? Let’s hope not! Wouldn’t it be better to just let the ban on offshore drilling expire, rather than work on their “bi-partisan” dopey bill?

Your efforts have brought a lot of attention to this issue. It is clear the Dems don’t give a hoot about helping the people, not only with the price of gas but also the rising food costs. Lower gas prices will hurt them in November. We must not let the Senate minimize the importance of this issue.

If the Dems care only about winning more seats in Congress and taking back the WH, well, we need to do whatever we can do to stop them — and, work on more energy independence at the same time.

Drill here and drill now — and keep working on alternatives, too. Build refineries and build nuclear power plants. Do it all and do it soon.

Thank you for all your hard work.

  2. Marc Boyd, (R,TX) Says:

My house is behind you 100%. With McCain’s pick of Palin, we WILL get “All of the above” accomplished.

    Keep firing away!

    Where is my TX rep???
