Nebraska University Center for Information Assurance (NUCIA)
NUCIA combines the efforts of commercial, governmental and educational institutions across the United States to increase awareness in the numerous domains of information security.

With threats ranging from hacking a home-based personal computer to shutting down power grids or communication systems, the world wide computing community needs capable information security professionals to assure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of their data.

NUCIA bridges the gap between education, research and practice to deliver knowledgeable personnel to the organizations that need them now.

Information Assurance
Information Assurance (IA) is the practice of managing information-related risks.
