Dear Colleague: 

            As the House approaches a vote this Thursday on the so-called “Employee Free Choice Act,” legislation to strip workers of their right to a federally-supervised private ballot election in the workplace, those we represent in the House are making their voices heard…and they don’t like what they see.  They recognize this bill for what it is: a payback to special interests, a case study in hypocrisy, and – most of all – an unprecedented assault on the democratic rights of American workers.   

Below is just a sampling of organizations staunchly opposing the bill – they literally come from all areas of the country.  More than likely, you’ve heard from them already.  And, depending on your vote, it’s very possible that you’ll hear from them again – either here in Washington, or back at home.
