NSA/CSS Commercial Solutions Center (NCSC)

The NSA/CSS Commercial Solutions Center (NCSC) addresses the strategic needs of NSA/CSS and the national security community by harnessing the power of U.S. commercial technology.

The NCSC is responsible for hosting vendor capabilities presentations that showcase new commercial technology developments. These presentations afford you, the vendor, an opportunity to showcase your technology and its possible applications for national security systems to select members of the NSA/CSS workforce. The presentations are normally held in an unclassified environment near the Fort Meade, Maryland area. If you are interested in pursuing a capability presentation, please complete a brief questionnaire. Based on your product's potential to meet a current or perceived future need, the NCSC will contact you to schedule a follow-on session.

The NCSC also manages the Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) program on behalf of the NSA/CSS. Elliptic curve provides greater security and more efficient performance than first generation public key techniques currently in use. NSA/CSS purchased a license that covers intellectual property in a restricted field of use to assist in the implementation of elliptic curves to protect U.S. and allied government information. As you look to upgrade your security systems, consider the elliptic curve alternative for computational and bandwidth advantages offered at a comparable security level. Commercial vendors can receive a free patent license from NSA/CSS provided your security products fit within this restricted field of use. For more information, please see the following:
