FROM THE OFFICE OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS October 19, 2004 Treasury Officials to Join Bankers in Schools Across the Country Treasury is teaming up with the American Bankers Association Education Foundation this week for the second annual Get Smart about Credit Day. Several Treasury officials will join local bankers across the country who are visiting colleges, high schools, freshman orientations, youth groups, and continuing education classes to teach students how to budget, use credit cards responsibly and build a positive payment history.
