Evening to all,
In many states internet access is not allowed/available to inmates at
local/state/Federal correctional institutions. This is a very common
problem when you are working with teachers/instructors in corrections. Have
a great evening, Ron at KET, Kentucky Educational Television.

Really? In the whole state? I ask because in NYC I've seen ads for people
to teach incarcerated prisoners.

Hi, I'm new to this listserve, I'm a MLIS student at Wayne State and am
trying to find
some current info on inmate access to computers. I've found some older
statistics, but nothing after 2000. I'm particularly interested in
issues regarding
internet access to prison inmates, and the degrees of technology
literacy among
inmates. I'd appreciate any leads.
Thanks,
Anna
