WASHINGTON, DC - House Appropriations Committee Ranking Republican Rep. Jerry Lewis today announced the Republican subcommittee membership of the House Appropriations Committee for the 111th Congress.
“It is an honor and a privilege to serve with this experienced and distinguished group,” Rep. Lewis said. “This Committee will deal with many difficult decisions in the year ahead – including complicated budget issues that will affect our nation’s fiscal health for generations. I look forward to working with my colleagues on the Appropriations Committee to help address these critical financial challenges, safeguard taxpayer dollars, and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our federal programs.”
The new Committee ratio is 23 Republicans and 37 Democrats.
