Airport Station Helper

Notice: Please be advised that it is the policy of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport that the carrying of all firearms and weapons on your person is strictly prohibited throughout all areas of the airport.

We're attached to the Airport, right off baggage claim. One way fares are only $1.75, and within 20 minutes, you can be downtown.

Now, DELTA and Air-Tran passengers have the added convenience of having ticketing counters available in or just outside the Airport MARTA Station!

MARTA to the Airport

Catch MARTA first. With direct train service to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, MARTA is your efficient, no-hassle connection.

MARTA's Airport Station - the final stop on the South Line - is only a 17-minute trip from Five Points Station, the hub of the MARTA rail system. Other popular destinations are equally accessible from the airport.

All southbound trains go to the airport and have plenty of luggage space available at the end of each railcar.

Elevators, located in every rail station, provide additional convenience to travelers carrying multiple bags.

 

How to Find MARTA in Hartsfield-Jackson

The entrance to MARTA's Airport Station is located inside the western end of the airport's main terminal. Our faregates are just a few feet from the baggage claim areas. Follow the signs, they are plentiful.

The MARTA RideStore

The MARTA RideStore, located at the entrance to the Airport Station, is where you can purchase tokens and TransCards. Visit the RideStore page for more details.

Arriving air travelers should follow the Ground Transportation signs to MARTA.

 

MARTA rail operating hours:

Monday through Friday: Approximately 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. (last train leaves airport at 1:00 a.m.)
Saturdays: Approximately 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. (last train leaves airport at 1:05 a.m.)
Sundays/Holidays: Approximately 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. (last train leaves airport at 12:46 a.m.)

Note: If you are traveling Northbound from the Airport to the Buckhead, Medical Center, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs and North Springs rail stations after approximately 7:30 pm, you need to board the northbound train with "Doraville" destination sign, exit at the Lindbergh Center rail station (N6), and transfer to the North Line train with a destination sign of "North Springs". This is also true for weekend travel to the North Line.
