The Celtics found the perfect opponent Sunday to snap out of their recent funk.
Featuring flawless shooting from Ray Allen and unrelenting defense by Kevin Garnett on Chris Bosh, Boston ended its four-game skid with a 94-88 road triumph over Atlantic Division-rival Toronto.
The C's have now beaten the Raptors in seven of the last eight meetings and have won four straight at Air Canada Center.
Allen buried an NBA season-best eight 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 36 points, while Rajon Rondo dished out 11 assists and Paul Pierce sank a critical jumper in the final minute to seal the deal. Kendrick Perkins sat out with soreness in his left shoulder.
These two foes will complete a home-and-home on Monday when they square off at TD Banknorth Garden.
