SENIOR DOE OFFICIAL TO HOST PRESS CALL ON ELECTRICITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE'S NEW REPORTS January 15, 2009 - Assistant Secretary for Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability will host a call with the Electricity Advisory Committee (EAC), to announce the completion of three reports prepared for the Secretary of Energy's consideration.
The three reports include the EAC's recommendations for policy and program initiatives surrounding generation adequacy, energy efficiency and demand response, transmission adequacy; deployment of energy storage technologies; and deployment of smart grid technologies.
