Monday, January 12, 2009
11:30 am

WHERE:
Community Service Council of Northern Will County
619 Access Drive Romeoville, IL 60446

WHY:
Approximately 3 million foreclosures are predicted to occur this year nationwide, and Will County remains among the hardest-hit counties in the state.  In order to address this growing problem, many local communities have stepped-up their efforts to help keep families in their homes by providing housing assistance and mortgage counseling services.  At Monday’s roundtable, Will County service providers and officials will meet with U.S. Rep. Judy Biggert to discuss challenges faced by the area’s housing market and potential solutions that can be advanced locally and through the newly-convened 111th Congress.

Members of the media are invited to attend.  For additional information please contact Brian Colgan at 630-655-2052.
