The House Natural Resources Committee, Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands, led by Chairman Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), will hold a legislative hearing on the following bills:
  • H.R. 442 (Berry): To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to study the suitability and feasibility of designating the Wolf House, located in Norfolk, Arkansas, as a unit of the National Park System, and for other purposes.
  • H.R. 761 (Fortenberry): To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to convey to the Missouri River Basin Lewis and Clark Interpretative Trail and Visitor Center Foundation, Inc. certain federal land associated with the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail in Nebraska, to be used as an historical interpretive site along the trail.
  • H.R. 1625 (LaHood): To establish the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area, and for other purposes. (Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area Act)
  • H.R. 1835 (Schiff): To provide for a resource study of the area known as the Rim of the Valley Corridor in the State of California to evaluate alternatives for protecting resources of the corridor, and for other purposes. (Rim of the Valley Corridor Study Act)
  • H.R. 2197 (Space): To modify the boundary of the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park in the State of Ohio, and for other purposes. (Hopewell Culture National Historical Park Boundary Adjustment Act)
