This glossary is not intended to be an authoritative source, but rather a handy reference to help familiarize you with some of the housing-specific terms you'll come across in our research publications and on our site.
Scope
This glossary is limited to terms and acronyms most used on HUD USER, in U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development periodicals and data sets, and by HUD Programs.
Format
All entries are listed in alphabetical order, including acronyms (which are cross-referenced with their corresponding definition.) General terms are defined in a HUD USER context where appropriate.
