USDA's Animal Identification Program

The Animal Identification Program is a voluntary program consisting of components for premises registration, animal identification, and tracking, and is in partnership with state departments of agriculture.  "Take the First Step" addresses the premises registration component.  Attached to this link are brochures entitled "Take the First Step" including one general brochure and individualized ones focused on swine, cattle, deer and elk, dairy cows, horses, and poultry.
