Federal Trade Commission Received Documents Dec. 4, 1995 P894219 B18354900011 4380 Vireo Ave., 3K Bronx, N.Y. 10470 Nov. 24, 1995 Federal Trade Commission F.T.C., Room 159 6th & Pennsylvania Ave., N.W. Washington, D.C. 20001 Dear Commissioner: Made in U.S.A. means the complete item is made in the U.S. by Americans - "not just assembled." This is a terrible problem today. I only have luck with things totally manufactured in the U.S. by Americans for Americans - using American measurements as their standards. Electronics, electrical products, plumbing supplies, etc. are superior if the complete fabrication is made in the U.S. I would like if manufacturers were forced to tag their products where manufactured. Germany is a good example - no junk from Japan or Taiwan, Korea or China. Sincerely, Charles T. Amato C T AMATO 4380 Vireo Ave. #3-K Bronx, NY 10470
