campsites dispersed along a 5-mile section of the lower Cranberry
River.

Rock Campground and Cranberry

Directions: From Richwood
travel one mile east on State Route 39/55, then 6 1/2 miles north
on Forest Road 76. Campsites are numbered 1-11 and dispersed along
Forest Road 76.
Season: See Recreation Site Information.
Facilities: Each site has
a picnic table, lantern post, and trashcan. No water or electric
is available. One vault toilet is located near sites 7-11. Sites
vary in size but a few can accomodate several campers and serve
as group camp sites.
Attractions:
Trout fishing in the adjacent
Cranberry River. A valid West Virginia State Fishing License is
required, along with a National Forest stamp and a trout stamp.

Hiking, biking and fishing is
available in the nearby Cranberry Backcountry.

corridor.
