OTS 08-059 - OTS Accepting Nominations for Mutual Savings Association Advisory Committee

Washington, D.C. — The Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) announced today that the agency is establishing a Mutual Savings Association Advisory Committee and is seeking nominations for potential committee members.
The committee will study the needs of mutuals, assess the challenges they face and advise the OTS Director on how best to support mutual institutions now and in the future.
Nomination for potential committee members, as well as recommendations for organizations that should be represented on the panel, should be made to the OTS by Jan. 8, 2009. More information on the nomination process is attached.
