This agency at the National Library of Medicine whose mission is to improve "..the collection, storage, analysis, retrieval, and dissemination of information on health services research, clinical practice guidelines, and on health care technology, including the assessment of such technology." On NICHSR's web site there are numerous links to their databases, Outreach and training programs, Publications and related HSR web sites.

This site acts as a repository to provide high school youth and educators with regional health career and medical issues information using the Internet and online resources.

Consumer Health Web Sites
An annotated webliography of consumer health web sites recommended by Department of Veterans Affairs librarians. Each site was critically reviewed and evaluated before inclusion on the webliography. Web sites are arranged by subject.

Virtual Hospital-a digital library of health Information
"Virtual Hospital is a digital health sciences library created in 1992 at the University of Iowa to help meet the needs of health care providers and patients." (from Virtual Hospital web page intro) The site contains health related information for both the Health Care provider and the patient. Continuing Education sessions are available for the health care provider.
