EIA-767 Data Files Annual Steam-Electric Plant Operation and Design Data
The Energy Information Administration (EIA) has terminated the Form EIA-767. The 2005 Form EIA-767 data is the last data file available in the Form EIA-767 data series. The Form EIA-767 did not collect data for data year 2006. Beginning with calendar year 2007 data, two other surveys, the Form EIA-860 and the Form EIA-923, will collect most of the data formerly collected on the Form EIA-767.
To view a crosswalk of the data elements previously collected on the Form EIA-767 for 2005 with the corresponding data elements to be collected beginning with calendar year 2007 on the Form EIA-860 or the Form EIA-923, please click on the link below.

This is a steam-electric plant data file that includes annual data from
organic-fueled or combustible renewable steam-electric plants with a generator
nameplate rating of 10 or more megawatts regardless of current ownership
and/or operation. The data are derived from the Form EIA-767 "Steam-Electric Plant Operation and Design Report." The file contains data on plant operations and equipment design (including boilers, generators, cooling systems, flue gas desulfurizations, flue gas particulate collectors, and stacks). Beginning in the data year 2001, nuclear plants data are no longer collected by the survey.
Starting from year 2001, a new file structure has been developed. The self-extracting zip file expands into 14 Excel files. To expand the .exe file, double click on the file name F767yy.EXE* from Windows Explorer in either Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, XP, or click Start, then Run, then select name of .EXE file to open, then "OK."
