State Energy Price and Expenditure Report 1993

U.S. total spending on energy approached half a trillion dollars in 1993. The Energy Information Administration's State Energy Price and Expenditure Report 1993 (SEPER93) breaks out that spending by State and economic sector. Fourteen tables (in pdf format which requires the Acrobat reader) rank the States and the District of Columbia according to energy prices and expenditures for motor gasoline, petroleum, natural gas, coal, and electricity. Individual tables provide detailed data on prices and expenditures for each State and the United States as a whole for 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, and 1990 through 1993. Some highlights:
