Chairwoman Slaughter Welcomes Members to House Rules CommitteePerlmutter, Pingree, & Polis Join Returning Members on House Rules Committee Washington, DC – Congresswoman Louise M. Slaughter (D-NY-28), Chairwoman of the House Committee on Rules, today congratulated the three new Democratic Members of the House Rules Committee and welcomed back returning Members. “I’m thrilled to welcome Ed Perlmutter, Chellie Pingree, and Jared Polis to the House Rules Committee,” said Rep. Slaughter. “I look forward to working with each of the Members of the Committee to help get America back on track.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi nominated the following three new Rules Committee Members:
- Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO)
- Rep. Chellie Pingree (D-ME)
- Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO)
The new Members join the following returning Democratic Members of the House Rules Committee:
- Rules Committee Vice Chair James McGovern (D-MA)
- Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL)
- Rep. Doris Matsui (D-CA)
- Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D-CA)
- Rep. Michael Arcuri (D-NY)
