Hi Everyone,

Yes, the tests will only be available on computer. We have designed the
interface for these tests to be as simple as possible. There will be a
tutorial that students can access which will familiarize them not only
with specific item types, but with other computer skills such as using a
mouse and highlighting. The tutorial will be free and students can
access it and practice their skills as often as they want prior to
taking the tests. An example of this kind of tutorial can be found by
going to www.ets.org/etsliteracy, then clicking on the 'Sample Questions
Available' link. Once you click on that link, you will see a page which
has the Sample Questions and a "Tutorial" tab. Click on the "Tutorial"
tab. Follow the instructions on that page to run the tutorial.

Best regards,
Julie

My own personal concern is that the students have to take the tests on
the computer, yes? And if so, what happens if they are not computer
literate? And if the program does not have access to computers so they
can teach computer literacy?
