DESCRIPTION: Environmental Protection Agency personnel sample the HTH-1 well at the Central Nevada Test Area (CNTA) as part of the annual sampling for the Long-Term Hydrological Monitoring Program.CNTA is located north of the Nevada Test Site and Tonopah, Nevada and was the site of an underground nuclear test conducted in 1968.  Environmental restoration activities at CNTA are the responsibility of the Nevada Site Office.
