SUBJECT: Redelegation of Personnel Authority

1. DELEGATION. This directive redelegates certain of the personnel management authority held by the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury (Management).

2. REDELEGATION. This directive delegates to the Director, Human Resources Directorate, the authority of the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury (Management) to act and make final decisions in those matters which are covered by paragraphs l.a.(l), (2) and (3) of the Treasury Order (TO) 102-01, "Delegation of Authority Concerning Personnel Management," dated December 5, 1985, and which come within the following categories:

The Director, Human Resources Directorate, shall act, in all matters within this delegation, under the general supervision of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Departmental Finance and Management.

3. AUTHORITY TO REDELEGATE. The Director, Human Resources Directorate, may redelegate to officials in the Department so much of the authority described herein as the Director may deem appropriate. Redelegation of personnel management authority may be made through the Human Resources Directorate Manual.

4. PROVISO. Nothing in this directive diminishes in any way the authority of the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury (Management) to exercise any of the authority delegated to him by the Secretary.

5. CANCELLATION. Treasury Directive 12-31, "Redelegation of Personnel Authority," dated June 9, 1986, is superseded.

6. AUTHORITY. TO 102-01, Delegation of Authority Concerning Personnel Management, dated December 5, 1985.

7. OFFICE OF PRIMARY INTEREST. Human Resources Directorate, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Departmental Finance and Management, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury (Management).
