FTC: Made In The USA Comments Concerning Don Williams--P894219 Don Williams 19 June, 1997 Office of the Secretary I would like to know how I can support workers jobs in this country. The way government and corporations have been handling it we cannot tell about the Made in US labels affixed to articles, whether they are American made or not. I suggest that two labels be made, one saying Made in USA if 98% or more of the product cost is paid out in America. Another label could be affixed in what ever country one wishes, when that product is less than 98% produced and assembled in the United States. Don Williams |
